Description
Aztecs - The Hoax Is Over LP, Infinity SINL934092. Great example of this scarce Australian prog blues psych rock album. Visually in ex shape due to a light hairline marking dotted about, the opener to the album has a sludgey blues sound evolving into a long blues psych solo, sounding a light crackle at the start and a couple of light pops before the much more experimental drum beat second number evolves into full on instrumental heavy psych rock, finishing on a fuzzed out r&b rock n roll sound. The b-side starts out on a harmonica solo, which has a light crackle, going into a 13 minute blues rock number before the shorter and more raucous r&b finale to the album. The laminated gatefold cover is in nice shape as can be seen but shows some record forming to the back from storage due to the stark black.
