EXTREMELY RARE LIMITED "AUTOGRAPH" EDITION 5 RECORDS BOX SET
DECCA GOLD LABEL SERIES
BEETHOVEN SONATAS FOR VIOLIN AND PIANO

Only 2500 of these Decca Gold Label Series boxed sets were produced, including this set identified in ink as #1571 near the autographs which are personally signed on the inside of the front box by the performing artists, Joseph Fuchs and Artur Balsam. Contained in the box is a booklet which includes complete scores with a preface and commentary for each individual sonata, and text, illustrations and/or photos on Beethoven, Fuchs, and Balsam. Additionally, there are 5 individual heavy paper sleeves inside the box that turn like a page bound to a wooden dowel running down the left side of the box interior held by metal fasteners. Performed compositions include:

sonata No. 3 - E flat major, op. 12, No. 3
sonata No. 4 - A minor, op. 23

(N) New: Dealer Stock, Mint, New
(NM) NEAR AS POSSIBLE TO NEW
(E) Excellent: very slight wear. Little surface noise. Playing surface retains much of the original shine.
(VG) Very Good: Fairly clean copy with some noticeable noise.
(G) Good: Considerable wear, surface noise, surface graining.
(F) Fair: Noisy, no surface luster remaining.
