Description

Al Jolson & Orch. "My Mammy" b/w "Toot Toot Tootsie" - 20th Century Fox 7402/7403 
Very rare original in-house production 10" 78rpm record in V+ condition. Both tracks are alternates to those used in the film "Rose Of Washington Square". These were the original versions Jolson recorded for the film on January 18, 1939 with a 34 piece orchestra. Both titles were RE-recorded at later dates for the film's final version soundtrack. ("My Mammy" was re-recorded Feb. 27, 1939 with a 29 piece orchestra, and "Toot Toot Tootsie" was re-recorded on Feb. 14, 1939 with a 37 piece orchestra).

I use the VJM grading system for 78's and have many years of experience grading, packing and shipping 78's safely. Check my feedback for many happy customers. Record will be sandwiched between 3 layers of new heavy corrugated cardboard, then wrapped several times with large bubble wrap and packed in a new 12x12x4 box for safe shipping.
