Description
Please read the entire ad for all terms and conditions, and feel free to email me with any questions you may have. There are usually additional photos of the item at the end of the ad, which you can click on to enlarge. When you click on them, you will see better resolution images than what you see in the ad body, so please take a look! : ) Attention buyers with ZERO feedback...hugely important! Please see the section below, regarding buyers with zero feedback, and bidding on my items. And now, without further ado...
You are looking at a rare lp from Philly soulstress Barbara Mason, on Arctic Records, entitled "Yes, I'm Ready". Barbara had a huge hit with the title track, and the LP has even been re-released in the last few years on 180g vinyl...but this is a sealed copy of the original 1965 mono release! There is no UPC on this record. See photos below. Although the record is still sealed, it is not necessarily in mint condition...the vinyl is assumed to be, but the cover has a couple areas where the shrink tore (see photos). Approximately 1/3 of the album slot is open, and unfortunately the cover picked up some soiling through that opening. Looks like a moisture stain perhaps. Other notable damage is on the top seam, again, about 1/3 of the shrink is torn open there, and the unprotected seam shows wear. The record however, is still sealed in the original shrink, so the vinyl is assumed to be mint. Some of the discoloration you see is dirt on the shrink wrap, like the black spott above the "e" in the title...thats a piece of tape on the shrink which may have been from an original price sticker. In any event, please see the photos to get a good idea of the condition. It is becoming increasingly more difficult to find this record sealed. Don't let it pass you by! Shipping is via USPS. This item is in original sealed condition, and is sold as-is.
100% feedback and high DSR's means you can bid with confidence!
Please check out my other auctions, and check back frequently in the next few weeks as I have a ton of electronic equipment, as well as rare and hard to find vintage items to list!
A few words about shipping and insurance... Ebay does not allow for sellers to list insurance as a separate item, so I am letting you know that I will be including the cost of insurance within my postage quote to you, if you are an international bidder. That applies to ANYONE outside the U.S.. AGAIN, for international bidders, insurance is REQUIRED and included in your shipping and handling fees. You MUST request an invoice from me before checking out and using paypal so that I may include the fee, unless you are using Buy It Now and immediate payment is required. If that is the case, then insurance has already been included in the shipping price. The insurance portion of your handling charges will be based on your final selling price, according to the chart below. I will quote you the shipping fees (the actual postage part) upon your request, so that you will know how much the postage will be, but I will have no way of knowing what the insurance portion of the shipping and handling fees will be, until the item sells. Again, please refer to the chart below. The actual cost for the insurance portion of your handling fees will depend on the final bid price of the item including shipping. If your item has a final bid including shipping of: $.01 - $50.00 (insurance fee is $1.70) $50.01 - $100.00 (insurance fee is $2.15) $100.01 - $200.00 (insurance fee is $2.60) $200.01 - $300.00 (insurance fee is $4.60) $300.01 - $400.00 (insurance fee is $5.55) $400.01 - $500.00 (insurance fee is $6.50) If you have ANY questions about my policy regarding insurance, please ask me : )Shipping discounts available with the purchase of multiple items. Shipping in the US for items costing less than $25, will include delivery confirmation, but not insurance. I pack items very well and have NEVER had a damage issue with ANY item I have sold and shipped. Items costing OVER $25 and shipped to a destination within the U.S. will have insurance added on to the shipping cost. This insurance works the same as for international, it's based on the chart above. I hope I have explained my policy regarding insurance very clearly for you, but if you have ANY question about insurance or ANY OTHER ISSUE, please feel free to send it my way. I guarantee you that I will respond to all inquiries. International bidders, be aware that depending on the size and weight of the item, international shipping may add substantial cost to your final price. If you are unsure about what to expect regarding total cost, email me first BEFORE bidding so that I may confirm it for you. INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY APPLICABLE DUTIES, IMPORT, OR VALUE ADDED (VAT) TAXES. Customs declared value will be what you paid for the item, not including shipping. I have no way of knowing what those fees may be if any, so they are not included in your costs of this transaction. Please see seller’s payment instructions for additional information BEFORE bidding or completing your transaction. ATTENTION BUYERS WITH ZERO FEEDBACK...We have all been there at some point, being new to ebay and all...it's exciting to bid on items! But when you do, you are creating a contract between yourself and the seller, and it's really lame not to follow through on your purchase when you win. Because I have had a few buyers like this, I must institute a policy that buyers with zero feedback must contact me BEFORE bidding on any of my items. If you are a buyer with ZERO feedback, and you bid on my items without contacting me first, your bid will be cancelled. Yes, I know, there are some righteous buyers with zero feedback, and you may be one of them...but because of the ones that aren't, you must go through this extra step if you want to purchase an item from me. This policy applies to ZERO feedback buyers only...everyone else, feel free to bid away! : )
A few words about my return policy…
I don't accept returns, and my items are sold as-is. Here's why...I've sold in excess of 1500 items on ebay. I've had only a few returns. The very few returns I've had were not packed with the care that I take, to ensure that items arrive safely. That being said, I have been a seller for 15 years on ebay, and I have 100% feedback and high DSR's for a reason. I stand behind every transaction. If you EVER have a problem with a purchase from me, you can rest assured that I will work it out with you, to your satisfaction. I just ask that you please contact me and allow me the opportunity to address any issues prior to opening a case with ebay, or leaving negative feedback. Thanks : )
A few words about payment and feedback… Payment is expected within 3 days of the end of the auction. If for some reason you need more time for payment, just let me know and I will do my best to accommodate you. As long as you communicate with me, we're cool. Feedback will be left when received. Feedback should reflect item description, shipping time, communication and shipping costs, and these aspects are broken down individually by Ebay, with star ratings. Please keep in mind when you rate your sellers, that shipping is more than just the post office mailing rate. It includes the padded envelopes, tape, printing, bubblewrap, styrofoam peanuts, etc…all the things necessary to ensure that your item arrives safely to you. These things may add a few cents to your shipping costs, but really, would you rather have it any other way?
