Description
BBC Top of the Pops Transcription disc- episode 130 - These were specially made discs of radio sessions sent overseas to the British Empire for broadcast. They were usually not looked after that well, but this disc is in terrific condition! Comes in official yellow sleeve.
This particular disc features Tom Jones; The Cymbaline; Sue And Sunny; Bee Gees; Brian Poole; and The Gnomes Of Zurich.
The Bee Gees material is their first appearance- and includes a great interview with Barry Gibb before the Bee Gees perform "New York Mining Disaster 1941". Wow! They also sing on The Gnomes of Zurich song here- double wow!
The expiry date is 25.11.67, so the programme content dates from about a year earlier.
Old-fashioned thick vinyl, and, apart from the odd slight mark, is in excellent condition with nice sheen. Lovely item- particularly if you are a Bee Gees fan!
