Description
This is VERY rare cartoon picture sleeve of The Beach Boys "Heroes and Villians", b/w "You're Welcome", Brother Records cat. #1001 pressed in 1967 by Capitol Records - you are bidding on both the rare picture sleeve and the original, flawless 45 that came in it, together..
The sleeve grades M- and the 7" 45 rpm record I would grade Mint un-played.
Heroes and Villians was issued as a 7" 45 single in a couple of different picture sleeves, this one is the RARE cartoon version, and is ALL original - absolutely not a re-pressing or re-issue.. it is the original 1967 pressing.
The textured picture sleeve has absolutely No seam splits, no writing, no stickers, and lays perfectly flat.
The 45rpm 7" record looks totally flawless and un-played.
This is a genuine 1967 pressing and is VERY hard to find in this condition. Book value is over $75.00.
I bought this many years ago as a collectible and it has been safely and carefully stored for decades.
I shot the photographs outdoors in shaded sunlight. What looks like a stain or darkening on the upper right hand section of the picture sleeve is merely a shadow - a photographic artifact.. in-hand, there are no stains on the picture sleeve, and the upper right hand area is NOT darkened. Again, it's just a shadow from an overhead balcony.
The record itself looks absolutely flawless and un-played. No scratches, no warping, no problems of any kind.
I will pack the picture sleeve in one Bags Unlimited 7" vinyl sleeve, and the record in a second Bags Unlimited vinyl sleeve behind it. The record will NOT be inside the picture sleeve, specifially to avoid seam-splits during transit..
Both will be in a very heavy-duty Bags Unlimited box specificially designed for shipping 45s, with double heavy-duty cardboard reinforcing squares surrounding the separately-sleeved picture sleeve and record.
The shipping box will be heavily sealed with 2" clear packing tape on every edge and seam. Obviously NO tape will touch the picture sleeve or the record.
If you collect rare 45 picture sleeves, here's a real rarity to add to your collection..

I'm sorry, nothing personal.. but it has just become too much of a hassle to deal with International shipping.. besides the language / time difference / communications problems, the shipping rates and Customs rules vary wildly from one country to another.. if you are OUTside the USA you may bid ONLY if you have a USA address with a USA Zip Code, (such as a friend, relative, or business with a USA address) to whom I can ship the item - then they can arrange to get it to you..
EVERY flap and seam of the shipping box will be secured with 2" clear packing tape.. absolutely, NO tape will touch the picture sleeve or the record. I will take enormous care in packing this rarity so it gets to you in perfect condition..
I have only one of these.. and when it's gone, it's gone..
It takes time and knowledge and skill to properly pack a rare item like this so it reaches you in the same condition you see it in the photos, and I've packed and mailed over two thousand eBay items of all description, from rare books and paper ephemera, to coins, Waterford Crystal, chinaware, porcelain, Vintage toys, and other fragile items.. you name it.. my feedback is filled with raves from buyers about my packing and shipping because I take the time and care to do it right, with the proper packing materials.. the way I would want something packed and shipped to me, if I had purchased it.. I do everything myself.. I don't use any un-skilled "helpers".. I shoot the photos, write the descriptions, and do the mailing of ALL my eBay items, and have since I started selling on eBay in 1998!..

Payment MUST come from the winning bidder's PayPal account which must have a VERIFIED ADDRESS on file with PayPal. PayPal offers no seller protection if a seller ships to an un-verified address..
