This belonged to John Petersen drummer for the Beau Brummels. Came from the John Petersen estate. THIS IS AN ACETATE I THINK THE INSIDE EDGE OF THE MIDDLE LOOKS LIKE METAL. IT'S ALSO HEAVIER THAN A VINYL 45. IT HAS "LAUGH LAUGH" AND "STILL IN LOVE WITH YOU BABY". Up for auction is this rare Demo acetate record by The Beau Brummels for all the Beau Brummel fans who want something rare for their BB collection. On the record is LAUGH LAUGH and STILL IN LOVE WITH YOU BABY. There is no writing on the record but i listened to it and it's those 2 songs. They might be the same as the released versions. Still In Love is about 10 seconds faster and Laugh Laugh isn't quite as long as the released version. It's definitely rare being on the Coast Recorders label at 960 Bush Street where the song was recorded in 1964. Owned by Bill Putnum known as the father of modern recording. This record was Produced by Sly Stone. The studio was at this address from 1963-1969.The Mojo men, Charlatans and many others recorded there. It also was The Troubadour north and The Boarding house. Performers from Steve Martin to Lenny Bruce, Robin Williams to Lily Tomlin performed at the boarding house. On Nob Hill. The address has quite a history. It was the Royal Hawaiian club and many different clubs and theaters were at the address. It has a few scratches but overall it sounds good. SEE PHOTOS. ASK QUESTIONS.
