Copyright 1959 Acorn Industries, Loew's Inc. 11.75x15.75x1.5" deep cardboard box has art image of chariot race on lid along with "Ben-Hur" movie logo at lower left and text "Inspired By MGM's Magnificent Motion Picture. VG. Box bottom is designed like faux wood frame and holds 10x13.75" die-cut cardboard pieces that have been fit together and nicely hand painted giving a layered 3-D effect. Box bottom sets off the painting nicely and is VF as is painting. Scarce. Few items were produced for this iconic film.
