Empress Of The Blues Bessie Smith (1894-1937) died over 10 years before the advent of the 7" single. In 1951 Columbia pressed the original recording of her timeless classic You've Been A Good Ole Wagon, which features Louis Armstrong at the height of his awesome powers, on the then-new 45RPM format; it was never again reissued as a single. You seldom see any 1951 Bessie Smith 45s offered for sale. Do an eBay search & good luck; this historic, hyper-rare 7" vinyl has been out-of-issue for almost 70 years!
A scarce CLEAN M- 45 that looks barely played, with its correct company sleeve; we're discounting for a bit of paper loss on the B-side label (see last photo). It'll sound great on your turntable, jukebox...or put it in The Vault!
