GENESIS, ‘FOXTROT’, AN ORIGINAL 1972 UK CHARISMA RECORD LABEL LP IN GATEFOLD SLEEVE –CAS 1058.
Rare Bird was a progressive rock band founded in 1969. They were formed in England, but had more success in other European countries than they did at home. They are mostly remembered for the haunting, organ-based track "Sympathy". It sold one million copies globally. The band's initial line-up was as below, although there would be changes by the time they came to work on their third album. The first two members listed were a constant throughout the lifetime of the band.
Steve Gould (b. Stephen Burt Gould, 25 March 1950, Battersea, South London) - lead vocals & bass, rhythm guitar David Kaffinetti (b. David Franklyn Ewer, 17 April 1946, Folkestone, Kent) - pianos & assorted keyboards Graham Field (b. Graham Stansfield, 3 May 1940, Beaminster, West Dorset) - organ & assorted keyboards Mark Ashton (b. Mark Ashton Vey, 23 June 1949, Bridge, Kent) - drums & backing vocals.
The album is on the Pink *CHARISMA* Record Labels, with circled P date 1969.
Both record labels are in stunning Mint Minus condition, super clean, almost as new record labels to both sides.
As expected and due to the pristine condition of the LP, it plays through both sides without faults, a really great sounding play back.

Both sides of the very nice, heavy quality vinyl LP are in superb Excellent Plus condition, super clean and glossy vinyl surfaces to both sides without scratches or scuffs, and just a couple of surface hairlines.
The LP comes in it’s original white inner record bag, and is housed in it’s original front laminated, glossy Picture Sleeve which is in superb Excellent Plus condition, this sleeve is undamaged and shows just mild LP storage signs to the back panel, and a couple of laminate pinches to the front.
A lovely example of this collectible UK album release from Rare Bird.
