RARE BLACK FLAG MEAT PUPPETS CONCERT FLYER ARTWORK BY RAYMOND PETTIBON
Straight out of 1983 is an awesome poster for several dates in the Pacific Northwest with the Meat Puppets. This pinhole free 8-1/2" x 11" flyer is in mint condition for being stored flat for 27+ years. This flyer was sent to me by Black Flag themselves! These dates would be some of the last for Chuck Dukowski as bass player for Black Flag.

There is no yellowing whatsoever on this piece of punk history. The poster does show where Black Flag folded, addressed, return addressed and stamped this for mailing back in 1983. Very clear and easy to read US Post Office markings show date and location of origin (please see photos below). Punk rock with a provenance (take that Antique Roadshow)! Artwork is done by Greg Ginn's brother Raymond, better known to all as Raymond Pettibon and is entitled "Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Tchaikovski...". A great addition to any punk flyer or poster collection!

Black Flag in consisted of Henry Rollins, Chuck Dukowski, Greg Ginn and Bill Stevenson. The Meat Puppets included brothers Curt and Cris Kirkwood and Derrick Bostrom.
