Description
Chance 1131 – James Williamson – Homesick/The Woman I Love. James Williamson became known as “Homesick James” after this offering. Great rare blues original on the famed Chance label. The record has a quarter inch crack from the edge to the playing area that has been professionally repaired. (see photo). Both sides play all the way through (I will try to upload sound clips later). Otherwise it would be graded VG minus. This record if in near mint condition would sell in the 4 figures. Here you can own this historical record in nice playable condition for a fraction of the value.
Shipping is $2.50 in the US for one or two records, $6.00 for international. Records are well packed in cardboard mailers. I cannot be responsible for damaged or lost parcels if not insured. All items guaranteed to be original (no bootlegs) and in the condition described or completely refunded.
I have had a few questions about the condition of this record. The record is CRACKED. The crack is repaired so the record plays all the way through on both sides and the crack will not grow. But you can hear the needle go over the crack. If the record were NOT cracked, it would still be graded VG MINUS because of numerous scuffs. The record is not graded VG minus because it is cracked. I have it listed for the price shown because that's how much I have invested in it. Please, Do Not Bid if you do not want a cracked record! At best, it is a playable filler. Also, I have a sound clip on an MP3 file and am trying to figure out how to upload it. eBay is about as useful as an ingrown toenail in assisting with this.
