We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable.  We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback.   We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied.    SCARCE original 1973 U.K. PURPLE RECORDS first pressing of a brutal hard/rock/guitar trio who managed a couple of sought collectible albums in the early 70's UK.
   Hard Stuff were formed after the drummer Paul Hammond and guitarist John DuCann left Atomic Rooster. A very heavy three piece who were not just hard rock but experimented with their sound. The first three tracks will have you moving, though all of the tracks are beneficial to the album's overall success. Basically, the brainchild of famed guitarist John DuCann who was in Andromeda, Atomic Rooster and other noted heavies of the late 60's early 70's...
   BOLEX DEMENTIA was the second of the two LPs recorded by HARD STUFF, and it's hard to imagine a better example of blistering 70s heavy rock than the two Lp's. Not only do they have brutal cranked up distorted guitar riffs, but they also have the benefit of good songwriting, resulting in a rare combination of both guts and brains. Split vocal duties also help, with the John's DuCann and Gustafson sharing the mike-stand. Bolex Dementia is not as dark as Bulletproof though it verges and kicks into hot-wired funky-guitar structures and guitar bursts  very Hard Stuff indeed!
   Their venture into HEAVY metallic-funk is unique in its style, which master guitarist John Cann manages to pull off quite well. After all, a lot of hard rock bands seemed to get hit with funk influences by 1973. This trio incorporates the format into a ripping hard psych-rock style in a very effective way...

3. Highlight of the album is definitely 'Spider's Web'. Starting off with a nice drum and quirky guitar intro, suddenly catching fire jumping into a real catchy overloaded funk riff jam complete with infectious chorus. One of the album's crowning achievements.

Elsewhere, there's the cool yet off the wall, 'Mermany', clearly of best on the album, along with ominous title cut, "Bolex Dementia", a memorable jam with radio voices appearing; very unsettling; similar "future-shock" creepy atmosphere first appearing on the Quatermass LP -- an offshoot of then soon to be Hard Stuff heavy structures

The cover: rated: near M- custom designed textured/grainy GATEFOLD cover with wide interlocking front/back graphics ...British nature of cover is made delicate yet handled careful retaining "collection worthy appeal" ...there are no faded areas, NO delete marks, no split seams, no bends, and no writing

1. The vinyl: Rated: M- nice ~ glossy clean and smooth, both sides and plays outstanding dynamic all the way... Both UK 'Purple' labels are clean
