RARE REHEARSAL DISC FEATURING BUDDY CLARK. APPROXIMATELY 22 MINUTES ON THIS 16 INCH, BLACK LACQUER ACETATE 33 1/3 RPM DISC. THIS DISC WAS RECORDED FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES ONLY AND NOT AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. VERY RARE!
This disc, dated April 25, 1947, features approximately 22 minutes of Buddy Clark rehearsing for (most likely) the Carnation Contented Hour. Side one starts with some conversation, then Buddy Clark rehearses "Come To Me, Bend To Me". Side two features Buddy Clark rehearsing an unidentified song. There is lots of conversation with Buddy Clark and someone from the orchestra. Very interesting and rare material!
Disc is in Excellent+ or better Condition with Excellent+ to Near Mint- sound, Beautiful Disc!
Due to their size, 16 inch discs will not play on most standard turntables. For $10 I can include a CD transfer of the entire disc for the buyer
