Impossible to find 1988 Westwood One Radio special MINT Description:
Impossible to find! 1988 - Backstage with George Michael and the Faith Tour radio special. Produced by Westwood One Radio Networks with a run time of 55:31. Featuring promotional interviews with George for the US portion of The Faith Tour. This recording also contains several pre-recorded tracks. Needless to say, this is one of the most sought-after collectibles from the Faith-era.
As with most Westwood One radio shows, only 100 copies of this show pressed and sent to major radio stations across the United States for a single play, on a pre-determined date. After the show was broadcasted the radio stations, per the license contract, they were required to return the vinyl for destruction. This copy never made it back!
The vinyl is 2-sided and labeled as George Michael Tour Special with the ID number GMSP-88
Includes the original track cue sheet with all the timing and cues, black die cut sleeve, and vinyl sleeves.
ABSOLUTE MINT CONDITION! Played only four times and handled only a couple of times by my own hand. Stored flat in protective casing in climate neutral storage.
As an added bonus we will include a copy of the recording on CD. The archive copy was created in my recording studio using a professional grade digital transcription turntable fitted with a Ortofon Arkiv Vinyl-to-Digital transcription cartridge / needle. Extra special care has been taken to ensure the highest quality recording.
