QUITE Rare 1973 original vinyl....underground crew who toiled the small clubs in East Germany (at the times a Communist regime) and as a result, a couple years after this, their first album, the legendary Klaus and crew were banned from playing...meaning their government fingered them out and told them they could not exist. Sounds suspicially like the ways and means put forth from such crass giants in USA operations sucking in all the empire dollars they get near -- while putting the squeeze on the ones who make their existance...
The East German rock scene spawned many beat and rock acts whose very livelihoods depended on concert income, rather than making records. The Klaus Renft Combo and Renft count among the finest that the GDR (German Democratic Republic) ever produced. Klaus Renft's chequered history and repeated brushes with GDR officialdom made him a perfect witness for Stasiland (2003), Anna Funder's examination of life under the Stasi (secret police) regime.
Funder called Renft "the bad boy of East German rock'n'roll" and the Klaus Renft Combo "the wildest and most popular rock band in the GDR".
Here, their very first and arguably best album, one that is not easily found due to the fact it and the group were banned...
The band feature varied styles in progressive rock & blues with some tracks like Cuby & The Blizzards. Riffing guitar structures, inc leads and slide guitar, + vocs, flute, organ, bass, drums.

CONDITION: The fragile colorful color cover is in collectible VG++ shape, still very strong and vibrant, the 36 year old collectible is very hard to find
the vinyl is all glossy, a few superficial hairlines is all, no problem, VG++ to 'EX"(excellent) visual and plays top level no problems...
