This is the UK release with all the components minus one: the actual plastic bag/cover for the Bagism insert is missing.  The wedding cake photo is still here.  I own two copies of the UK Wedding Album, and am selling what I’m guessing to be the first pressing.  This is because the outer box has the US SMAX number on the outside, along with that small printed in US circle, and my theory is that the UK boxes weren’t quite ready at release time.  The US Wedding Album came out a few weeks before the UK, which would have given Capitol time to ship some of these to Britain.  The Wedding Certificate on the inside box lid is the UK printing, Printed by Shenval Press, London and Harlow.  (This certificate is identical to that in the other UK box I own, which does not have the SMAX number on the outside, or for that matter, the SAPCOR 11 number.  That area on the spine is simply blank.)   The record, laminated gatefold sleeve, white inner sleeve, and all other components were made in the UK, and are identical to those in the other UK copy I own (with one odd exception—the “photo booth” strip is reversed so that Yoko is on the left).  The record’s gatefold cover, similar to Beatles for Sale with a pocket for record, has a few inches of seam splits and fraying on left and bottom side, same as the other copy I own.  There is modest tearing at top and bottom, and a 1-1/2” strip of clear tape on inside (the tear on the left).  The tape has been there for as long as I’ve owned this (20 years plus) and is unobtrusive. There is a little peeling of lamination, which I would consider minor.  Overall, this cover and box are in very, very good shape for having traveled across the Atlantic with the record shifting around inside.  The box itself shows some dinging on three of its corners, with the upper left showing some tears on the outside that were probably repaired (glued) before I owned it, but is otherwise in very good or better shape.  The record itself appears to be in excellent shape, as if for some reason, it was rarely played. The UK Press book boasts a flat black cover (interesting because my other copy is a bit shinier, if still much less so than the US version).  Also present: The Wedding two-sided poster; the two-sided sketches poster; the cake photo; the postcard; and the photo strip.  All again are printed in the UK.  If you have other questions, please ask.  I tried to be as honest and detailed about flaws, and think the next owner will be quite happy to own this very rare record and "gift" package, as it was originally advertised.
