Check out my auctions this week for a bunch of early rock & roll and doo wop LPs and 45s! Here’s a copy of Billie Holiday’s final album, released in 1958. It’s an original pressing on the Columbia 6 eye label, stereo, number CS 8048. The vinyl grades a nice VG+, and the cover is in similar shape. This is a rather raw and emotional album, and the effects from years of hard living are quite apparent in Holiday’s voice.
