Description
Rare First Pressing of Black Sabbath 's debut album by Vertigo record label. 12" Vinyl with swirl design inner sleeve and gatefold outer sleeve. VO 6 847 903 VTY.
The record was pressed in Italy, but the inner and outer sleeves were printed in the UK as there were no suppliers in Italy at the time (AI provided this detail).
I am not a pro, just selling some of my dads albums, so cannot grade this professionally, but took a ton of photos for you.
Very minor light scratches, which do not affect the sound in my opinion. However this record was in a damp environment, so the paper label on the record has some faded areas, and the record has one area of discoloration but when I played this it sounded very well, not much crackling and no jumps or pops.
The inner swirl sleeve is faded and very delicate, but in otherwise decent shape. Edges are worn.
The outer sleeve also has some edge wear which I presume would be expected for a 50+ year old record. I took some photos of the edges, if you need more photos just ask.
I saw these sell for crazy amounts, but wasn't sure how to value this, so I have 0.99 pence start with no reserve.
I bought vinyl cardboard with stiffners to make sure this reaches you safely.
