BLACK SABBATH MASTER OF REALITY Early UK Vertigo Swirl Pressing • 6360 050 • 1Y//2 / 2Y//1 • Embossed Box Sleeve A cornerstone of heavy music Few albums feel quite as heavy, physical and unmistakably Black Sabbath as Master Of Reality. From the opening cough of “Sweet Leaf” through “Children Of The Grave” and the monumental “Into The Void”, this is the record where Sabbath pushed their sound into something darker, lower and heavier – a blueprint generations of metal and doom bands would follow.

For collectors, early UK Vertigo copies are particularly desirable: the famous swirl labels, heavyweight period presentation and extraordinary original box-style sleeve make them feel completely different from an ordinary later reissue. Pressing Details Artist: Black Sabbath

This is an early UK Vertigo pressing using the 1Y//2 and 2Y//1 cuts. The smallest mother/stamper characters are shown in the detailed photographs and the photographs should be regarded as the final reference for those individual characters. Vinyl Condition — NM The record presents exceptionally well for its age, retaining a beautiful deep gloss. Under strong direct lighting only the lightest signs of careful handling may be visible. Labels are also very clean and attractive. A particularly pleasing example visually. Sleeve Condition — VG+ The original laminated and embossed box-style sleeve remains very presentable but shows genuine age and storage wear, including edge and corner wear, laminate creasing/rubbing and general handling marks as clearly photographed.

Importantly, it retains the wonderful original embossed artwork, the Howards Printers (Slough) Ltd. credit and the famous period “SWEET LIFE” misprint on the rear. It has the authentic character expected from an early surviving copy rather than being artificially described as flawless. Original Inner Sleeve — EX Included is the distinctive original-style Vertigo swirl poly-lined inner sleeve, marked “Made in England”. It remains in excellent condition overall with only normal light age and handling signs. Track Listing Side One
