Up for sale is this rare 1956 release on the Decca label 9-29854 from Buddy Holly titled Love Me with Blue Days-Black Nights on the b-side. This is his debut single and is the promo version of the record. He was 20 years old when this was released and would die less than 3 years later at the age of 22. This is where it all started for him and the music world would witness his meteoric rise to fame, only to be  devastated on that tragic flight along with Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper.
The vinyl surface is in extremely nice condition with only very light wear - the record was fully play tested on both sides and played very nicely - there are a few crackles but overall quite enjoyable. Hear a sample video!
The label has the name "Elaine" written on the b-side but otherwise is free of any other marks, tears, stickers. Comes in a poly-lined generic sleeve for full protection.
The matrix run-out is 45 89280 2 3 and 45 89283 3 3.
