Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. One of those gems that gets better & better with each listen...Filled with a mystical energy of varied sorts, definitive underground rock with some heavy, bongo-like drumming, and psych influences all over the place, especially on the slide guitar passages. This album is like a time tunnel to the good aspects of the sixties, a mystical warm vibe, the feel of being connected to everyone and everything, respect to human & animal life and the living in touch with nature. The album is legendary among the underground set, and rightly so. The first issue is rare, though there were more first copies pressed than this equally rare 1974 CAS label issue which came out only a year after the RTV release. The MU album is an absolute essential for anyone interested in psychedelic music. Drenched in great off-kilter hippie rock structures brimming with catchy melodies, psychedelic laced, and most noticable strength comes from the great and instantly recognizable guitar work of Jeff Cotton (ex of Beefheart's Magic Band circa "Trout Mask Replica"), Long live "Mu" ~~ the mythical continent of Lemuria!!!!
MU was a band formed by Jeff Cotton (aka Antennae Jimmy Semens) after he left the Magic Band in 1969. Cotton hooked up with friends Merrell Fankhauser, Larry Willey and Randy Wimer from his old band The Exiles & HMS Bounty.
