Description
This is a rare 33 rpm LP record by Willie Dickson and the Playboys titled “Reggae Exposed with Island Soul”. It is a Canadian pressing, issued as Lanark Enterprises LS 2004, probably during the 1960s as the French pavilion from Expo 1967 in Montreal is shown in the photo on the cover. The record features a great version of Lickin’ Stick, heavy funk as well as a nice mix of jazz, soul, reggae and calypso. The vinyl is in VG+ condition, slight wear, plays well despite slight edge warp - should be tolerated given the rarity of this record. The cover is in NM condition. All records have been play graded and cleaned with the Disc Doctor’s Quick Wash Record Cleaner where required.
