Cynthia Ann Stephanie "Cyndi" Lauper (born 1953) is an American singer, songwriter, actress and LGBT activist. Her career has spanned more than 30 years. Her first album She's So Unusual (1983) was the first debut female album to chart four top-five hits and earned Lauper the Best New Artist Grammy in 1985. Her success continued with the soundtrack for the motion picture The Goonies and her second record True Colors (1986). Since 1989, Lauper has released nine studio albums and participated in many other projects, winning numerous awards along the way..

ITEM ON OFFER: Double 12" LPs on Epic Records from 1993, the blank white gatefold sleeve boldly HAND SIGNED in black felt tip 'Cyndi Lauper', with a heart and a CND logo. Record label printed 'Demonstration Only, Not For Sale.'

PERSONNEL: Numerous musicians but not stated on disc or sleeve.

PRODUCER: Produced by Lauper and Junior Vasquez.

RECORD COMPANY: Epic Records.  RECORD NUMBER: ES 5094 & 5095.

CONDITION RECORD: FINE, appears unplayed.

CONDITION SLEEVE:  Near FINE, minor marks.

CONDITION AUTOGRAPH: Autograph FINE, very large in black felt tip pen.

CONTENT: ES 5094 has 7 Urban & Hip Hop Mixes. ES 5095 has 6 Club & House Mixes.

The song peaked in the top 40 in a couple of countries and was a dance hit in the US. Popular remixes helped the track to climb on the dance charts.

This record was from the collection of a BBC radio producer of the period (Mike Hawkes,) for whom it was signed. It was purchased at a sale at a major London auction house and the autograph is GUARANTEED GENUINE.
