RARE DECCA SXL2289 WBG ED1 : KERTESZ VPO : DVORAK NEW WORLD SYMPH 5 : EXCELLENT

!!!!! This is a first pressing of this extremely rare and sought after record in its original gatefold cover, very rare indeed !!!!!

I have inspected this using very bright LED lighting.
The VINYL is very flat, no warp. It has a good sheen though there are some minor discolorations in the actual vinyl itself, these are of no consequence at all, only mentioned for completeness. When viewed in normal light, the vinyl looks fantastic, when viewed under very strong directional LED light both sides have a couple of superficial hairlines.
Playback (on REGA RP6) is excellent, the vinyl itself is pretty quiet (not silent) with minimal rumble. There is of course the odd dust noise here and there as expected, but there are no clicks and certainly no jumps etc. The actual sound is super .. DEEP RICH and DYNAMIC as you would expect from a DECCA WBG ED1
This is the original GATEFOLD cover. The cover is overall EXCELLENT, very solid with no tears or significant bends, no ringwear, no seam-split etc. The outside has two blue marks on the top and right side (see photo). The inside of the cover is very clean, almost spotless, really nice.
