Description

This is an original PROMO vinyl pressing of the 1985 Dexys Midnight Runners album - Dont Stand Me Down

This was overlooked at the time but has since been well regarded as a lost masterpiece of the 80s

On Mercury - Ref MERH 56
Matrices A8 // B8 - sleeve is stamped "Promotional Copy not for resale" so not sure about the order of the press - any questions please ask

Also has the gatefold insert / lyric

Record is EX+ - just one or two ridiculously light surface marks - not even from wear, I'd say just from being in the sleeve
Sleeve grades as EX+ - spine is nice and squared with just one tiny crease, a couple of small hairlines and a little wear to the top
Insert is also EX+ - a little ringwear from being in the sleeve and one small crease to the bottom right
Black, polylined inner sleeve is Nr Mint  - if it matters

You will not find a finer copy of this album
