Description
Glen Neaves And The Grayson County Boys " Black Mountain Rag / The Old Swinging Bridge " Folk Star Records #613 78 RPM ca. 1950s. I believe this is a Promo copy. The labels have " Special Release " on them. White labels. The A side is an instrumental and the B side is a vocal. Scarce record. Not listed in the guides. Southwest Va. Bluegrass. The record has a lot of scratches and scuffs on both sides. Nothing really bad but some can be felt. Smudges and light spotting.. The finish is a bit dull. (A thorough cleaning will improve some of this. I just did a brief one). It plays with "crackling/sizzling/popping" but the instruments come through fairly loud and strong and the voices also on the B side. (They are pretty good). No skips or hesitations.
