Description

The Passions - Just To Be With You/ Oh Melancholy Me, Top Rank JAR224 1959. Very rare UK debut from this doo-wop group, I also have their second release currently listed too. One of the few records out of all the records I list that I am personally loathed to sell, the two Passions 45s are just wonderful and despite being marked and scuffed throughout visually they play fantastic. This has a lovely doo-wop a-side that sounds a light crackle and pops at the very start and maybe a couple of light pops but otherwise playing great, and the b-side is a lovely jangly almost upbeat doo-wop number, again other than a light crackle on the harmonised intro plays great. Complete with the original Top Rank company sleeve. Having a stock clear out over the coming weeks and pay no more than £3 for any number of auctions won in the UK, will keep postage to a minimum overseas and combine postage at cost.
