Description
Here is a very Rare Album by Def Leppard. Please feel free to research this album on Wikipedia. There is a ton of info about it on that site. This album was recorded in 1979 at Fairview Music Recordings in Hull and remixed in Aug. 1984. They were released as First Strike in Holland and Belgium in 1985 without the authorization of the band and their managers despite former manager Frank Stuart-Brown's apparent quote on the back cover.>>
Here is that quote: "This collection of early tapes proves the talent of five teenagers who took Sheffield and the rest of the U.K. by storm during 1979. These tracks established them as clear leaders in the resurgence of heavy metal rock that was taking place and led to a first rate record deal which they are still currently enjoying. This album is dedicated to the band and to the many fans that have made them the big stars they are today." By Frank Stuart-Brown.
Please see all the photos. The bottom of the album cover has come apart where it was glued. There must not have been much glue on it. Should be an easy fix. A little glue, not tape, would fix it. The album condition: There is a few short, small scratches on it but nothing deep. Very nice condition for its age and rarity. I also have a sealed cassete I will be listing of the same album and a C.D. so you can listen without playing the record. This item is VERY RARE!! Item comes with record, paper sleeve, album cover and a plastic sleeve for entire album. The item in the album cover is a marker so it would spread the cover apart a litte so you could see that it has become unglued.
