This very hard to find and very cool item is perfect for any spud trying to out-geek their friends. This is one of very few albums ever to be commercially released on the DAT (digital audio tape) format. It's still in its cardboard longbox with cellophane and outer stickers intact (though cut open on both ends.) The longbox is a bit beat up, but it's done its job, because the inner box, inlay cover and the tape itself are in perfect shape. I only ever played this once, in a pro studio while showing it off to some fellow audiophiles. There's really nothing more to say about it; it's a relic of an era that never quite took hold, both musically and technologically.
Just to be clear, this is not a cassette or Mini-DV. If you don't have a DAT player, you won't be able to play this. That's not to say you can't show it off, though.
