RARE Dru and Ann Livin' In My World RPC Private Female Folk Monster
DESCRIPTION:
Up for auction is Dru and Ann – Livin’ in My World a stupidly rare female duo folk record from Iowa released in 1968 on the legendary RPC label which has put out countless garage and psych monsters. I purchased this record six years ago in Toronto (who knows how it got here) and could find no info on it other than it being listed on the RPC discography. Two copies have since surfaced in the past six months on eBay. All known copies have some pressing/recording defects and play with some surface noise/distortion regardless of the condition.
CONDITION:
I do my very best to grade conservatively and accurately so that you won't be disappointed.
COVER:
VG
Cover is half in the original shrink, 5 cm seam split at bottom right, some ring wear present and two small pieces of tape on either side of the cover (this is not seam repair). Otherwise the cover is clean free of any writing.
VINYL:
VG-
Visually graded and play tested on a Thorens TD 160. This is to you give a better idea of the condition of the record. I can't guarantee it will sound the same, better/worse or not skip on your turntable. Every turntable/cartridge and how your turntable is set up will affect how a record plays.
Some deeper scratches on each side of the record and some light scuffs/scratches. The record is not entirely covered in surface scuffs just in some places. Personally I don't think the noise/clicks overpower the record as it is quite a loud pressing.
SIDE 1:
Some light surface noise with areas of louder distortion likely due to pressing/recording issues.
SIDE 2:
Many ticks present and heavier surface noise yet still has areas with no/negligible surface noise.

Shipping to Canada and the US is $14. International please email for a quote. Any LP over $100 must be shipped fully insured and traceable. I only charge the actual cost, but this can be quite expensive so please email for a quote.
