RARE LED ZEPPELIN II LP 1969 A/B PYE CONTRACT PRESSING.
Up for grabs with a 99p start!!!
Condition: Vinyl is in VG to VG- condition only. It has lots of marks and scuffs and plays through with crackle throughout (although more noticeable in the quieter sections). No skips or jumps although a few short clicks in places. Nothing that hugely overpowers the music and I still enjoyed listening to this, but certainly noticeable throughout.
Sleeve is worn and grubby and is split all the way along the bottom edge where the re it’d is housed. It has been subsequently taped by previous owner. Some ring wear (see photos) VG

PYE Contract pressing of the second Led Zeppelin LP
The copyright information is listed as ‘Copyright Control", when later red/plum labels state ’Warner Bros and Jewel Music.
Due to the expected high demand for this album, Polydor contracted the pressing of a few copies to Pye in advance of its release. It is recognized because has a groove inside the label and matrices end ONLY with the letter A (side 1) and B (side 2). (As this one does) also has a crossed out “8” in the matrix.
It exists both with the error "Wreck" (printed in 1969) Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin II and with the correct title "Maid” (the same as this one). “Lemon Song” on labels instead of “Killing Floor”.
Record will be carefully packaged before shipping!!!
