Description
The Stanley Brothers (Ralph & Carter) Acc. by The Clinch Mtn. Boys 78 " The Little Glass Of Wine / Little Maggie " Rich R Tone 423 78 RPM 1948. One of their hardest (and earliest) recordings to find. The record has some graying (dull finish) and some scratches and scuffs. (It wobbles just slightly but not enough to affect the play) Most of the scratches are surface only but some can be felt. It plays with a lot of "sizzling/crackling" but the voices and instruments still come through OK if not great. A lot of noise at the beginning on the A side but plays better after that. Sounds better on the B side. Some pops etc. NOTE: It also has a pressure crack but it doesn't affect the play (no skips or hesitations). The labels have a bit of wear and tracks.
