A VERY RARE ELVIS 78 RPM SHELLAC RECORD, THIS WAS RELEASED IN 1960 AND THE 10" SHELLAC FORMAT WAS DYING A DEATH, AND SOLD IN VERY SMALL NUMBERS. THE 45 SINGLE WAS NOW KING, BEING MORE DURABLE AND EASIER TO STORE, AND HANDLE HENCE VERY FEW 78's SOLD. THIS ONE HAS SURVIVED AND IS NOW UP FOR AUCTION.

This record was pressed on the Black RCA label.

The pressing number is 71.304.

The side 1 matrix is L2WW.0083, and the side 2 matrix is L2WW.0084.

It comes in an Original South African Issue RCA sleeve.

CONDITION:

Playing surfaces are in Good condition; but do show signs of use, and have some scratches but the record has been play tested, and plays fine on both sides.

Labels are in Good condition, see photos.

I am busy thinning my collection down, so I have listed many other 78 RPM 10" records, almost all South African pressings. This is a great opportunity to possibly obtain different RARE titles. These records do not come on to the market often.
