Description

EXTREMELY RARE! Absolute original Canadian pressing of this  Elvis Presley single on RCA Victor. Released in January 1956, this single was issued on the original "light blue" RCA Victor label in  September of 1956 the record company switched to a black coloured label for their 45rpm singles.  

This record is somewhat vital to the Elvis Presley history here in Canada

Other 45rpm singles were released for the company in November of 1955, all issued on the "light blue" label, but they were all previously recorded and released by the Sun recording company, and were all originally issued in the United States as Sun Records releases... all on the original "yellow" Sun label. RCA Canada acquired the rights to all of the Sun material circa November 1955, and quickly released them here in Canada on their own label.
