Description
EMI BSD 751 Stereo. Solomon Cutner (known simply as "Solomon") was widely considered the foremost Beethoven interpreter of his era (or any era for that matter) and I agree. Tragically he suffered a stroke in 1956 and never performed again which makes his Stereo recordings somewhat scarce, especially so this 1st label 10-inch LP recorded in 1956 and released in 1958. This is greatness for your record collection in rare condition.
A note about grading of used records:
MINT: Rare indeed and a category I never use. If a record is not sealed, even if it is "like new" or I know it has only been played once it will be graded in the next category (NM)
NM; If "like new" I will state so. Might have a minimum of barely audible noise. No repeating tics or frequent surface noise.
EX; Generally mostly NM with a bit more evidence of age.
VG+; Obviously used but mostly evident in quiet passages but still mostly quiet or unobtrusive'
I spot-play the records on a high resolution system, concentrating on high excursion, quiet or suspect sections.
