Description
Up for auction is this one of a kind piece of history. This is a 45 by Gordon Wayne & The Owls , titled "Red Wing" , on Damon Records. It comes with the original picture sleeve. The record itself is quite rare, but what really makes this item unique is that there is a letter written on the back of the sleeve by the owner of Damon Records (William Damon) , and he personally wrote and mailed it to the famous Jonathan Winters. The record is NM and most likely was not previously played. It does have a minor storage warp that does not affect play. The sleeve does have some wrinkling and staining , all minor in my opinion. Everything is guaranteed to be 100% original. This item is from a former employee at WCBS TV in New York City, who knew Jonathan Winters and Carole Burnett. I have several other items up for auction from the same collection.
