Description
Hard-To-Find full-length LP from Robbie Basho titled "Song Of The Stallion" released by Takoma (C-1031) in 1971. Robbie Basho's seventh album has seven studio recordings featuring his distinctive open chord, finger-style acoustic guitar abilities that blend influences from Middle Eastern, Western classical, Hindi classical and American folk music. Mostly instrumental but there are a few sections where Basho's baritone, operatic singing shock the ears with poetic lyrics. A difficult record to find from a truly unique musical artist to say the least! Never reissued on vinyl or compact disc.

Labels are in NEAR MINT condition. Vinyl record is in EXCELLENT condition with nice luster and some very faint sleeve staining. Plays with some crackle at beginning of sides that quiets down to light surface tics as record plays on...sounds great! Gatefold cover is in VERY GOOD to VERY GOOD+ condition with some light wear at three corners, heavy wear at top right corner, light edgewear, a few nicks/scrapes on edges, partial ringwear on back panel, a surface scrape/flaw at center/left side of back panel and there is moderate overall surface wear from storage.
All vinyl albums are shipped in protective cardboard mailers with cardboard flats and bubble wrap for safe shipping.
