Description
This is one seething Garage Punk pounder! Keith Kessler "Sunshine Morning" b/w "Don't Crowd Me," MTW-102, 1968. "Don't Crowd Me" was actually recorded in 1966 with Keith's group the Impulses out of the Pacific Northwest, but was not released until 1968. This one has it all-a great gritty organ and guitar backing throughout with Keith's tuff, snotty vocals riding the thundering punk beat, and an absolutely blistering, infernal blast of a guitar solo-I probably don't need to tell you how good this is, since it's been comped on Essential Pebbles Vol. 1, Ear Piercing Punk, Teenage Shutdown Vol. 14, etc. It is also insanely rare with the original PICTURE SLEEVE. It is on the G1000 list, ranking in at #712 with the picture sleeve. Go to: www.finerecordingstudio.com/oldG800.html to see for yourself. The condition of this record is a beautiful Near Mint. It looks unplayed. The only thing wrong with the record at all is a black X in marker on the label of the "Sunshine Morning" side, and a stamp denoting the date received (Sept. 6, 1968) by a DJ, as this is a promo copy. The picture sleeve is in VG+ condition. One side is virtually perfect, while the other has some slight ring wear. Also, one corner is slightly dinged up. Both sides have the same picture and track listing. Altogether, a great garage punk 45. Low reserve on this one, bid early and often! Shipping is $4 in the U.S., $8 Worldwide.
