Description

A Little history about the VERSATILES. They were recorded on the Rickarby label in Mobile Al. The label is named after Rickarby street where the studio owned by Ray Smith recorded them.The lineup  of the Versatiles included Jerry Smith on guitar and vocals, Daryl Huffman on lead Guitar, David Smith(Jerry's brother) on Bass and Vocals, Lamar PJ Johnson on Drums and backup vocals. This record was the second psych record they recorded around 1966 or 1967. The A side "Somethin Like A Man" is in great condition and is a strong VG+. The flip side "Warm In The Rain" has several scratches ( you should be able to see them in the photos I provided)so this record pops during the play. There is one small skip in that track and toward the end of the record the surface noise is less. There is also a very small bump or warp that does not affect play but it is there and you will see your tone arm rise and fall about a quarter of an inch early on both tracks.
