Jill Mumford has confirmed that in 1978, this home made silk-screened poster was produced in a small run, (she thinks about 15 only!) to promote the debut single.
Phillip Sheffield was the silk-screen artist. The single Hong Kong Garden was the Banshees first release at Polydor Records where Jill worked as an Art Director – she designed the record sleeve along with the band.

This actual poster was part of Toby Mott’s personal collection – and this actual Poster was part of Toby’s “Loud Flash” & The “Vinyl Factory” Punk Exhibitions!
