Record:
M- = A+
Almost perfect, highest grade I use. No visible defects.
NM = AA+
Near mint item. Record has been played, but handled with care. Very light signs of handling. Not sounding.
NM- = A/AA+
Vinyl is clean, but has light superficial surface marks, eventually few soft tics up and there.
VG++ = EX = A
More signs of wear, but still a great copy. Often used for early records..
VG+ = A-
More consistent noise or defects, or light scratches, no skip (see description)
VG = B+
More pronounced tics, scratches, rubs, etc. (only for very old or rare items)
