Description
Extremely rare 33rpm inside-start Flexo record by Jack Coakley's orchestra, recorded in San Francisco in 1930. This is pressed on thin green plastic and measures 12" in diameter. Each side features two selections and plays for over six minutes. "When You're Smiling" and "Thank Your Father" are great uptempo instrumental versions and include several very fine hot solos. Titles on the reverse are "Stein Song" and "Around The Corner." Unlike many Flexos which have warped over time this one is completely flat and plays well (though may require slight additional tracking weight depending on your set-up.) Condition is around V to V+ overall, with music loud and clear over moderate surface noise.
