Description

Astonishingly intimate yet out-there recording of some of an afternoon’s work by an extraordinary artist. This is INCUS 22, statements V-XI, the 1977 UK LP by Barry Guy, A1/B1 first pressing, with BILBO & EVAN/HELLO dead wax messages. Bilbo was the run-out groove name of the great mastering engineer Denis Blackham (and, presumably, ‘Evan’ namechecked Evan Parker, who also recorded on the Incus label).

Sleeve has a few light edge creases, a few foxing marks and light, partly-foxed, ringwear. Sleeve grades EX minus.

Vinyl is in super shape, visually EX+, plays very loudly and strongly, with a little occasional light crackle and the occasional dust click; overall, vinyl grades EX.
