***ONE OF THE RAREST ISLAND FUNK 45s: "OPUS 1" by UNION!

This is undoubtedly one of the hardest island funk 45s around - both in quality and rarity! I have no clue as to who UNION are(they have no affiliation w/ the U.S. group). I can only tell you that a fellow collector found 1 copy of this here in Toronto over 3 years ago which was beat to s*&t. I was then lucky enough to find 2 more copies after searching for quite some time. And that's it, no more have ever surfaced! We suspect them to be Bahamain or Bermudian but cannot say for sure. One thing is for sure that this will not be appearing in your local store anytime soon. There isn't even a lable on this damn record! Just the name of the band and the two songs!(no publishing / writers credits).
After listening to this sub-genre for a good few years now this track really stands out to me as being unique. It is both instro and vocal; the band having some vocal blasts over drum breaks nearing the end of the record. I must be honest and say that if it were not for poor finances I would not be parting w/ this record. But rent is due and this has gotta go. .

Record looks great and plays pretty good. There are a few light sleeve scuffs but the only sound issues come from the pressing which some very light noise can be hear at beginning of each side. Once the drums kick in you cannot this disapates(check soundclip below)
