Description
In the 80s and 90s, the British company Baktabak (get it?..back to back) released many interview picture discs. They featured such artists as Iron Maiden, Madonna, Bon Jovi, The Cure, U2 and Queen! They were album sized records, containing interviews with top music stars. All come with a really nice (and different) pic on either side. Up for grabs today is the Wendy and Lisa interview picture disc! Wendy and Lisa are, of course, Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman from Prince's early band, The Revolution. Wendy and Lisa left the group to pursue a career outside of The Revolution, and are still around, still making music, and lately they've been paying tribute to Prince! I never listened to this, so I really don't know what they discuss with the interviewer, but I'm sure its about their time in The Revolution, their albums on their own, and more than likely, they talk about Prince. The pics on both sides show how beautiful they were (are?), and it's a great Prince-related collectible to have! The record itself looks great, with no scratches, gouges, or scuffs that I can see. The sleeve is not bad, only a small tear at the bottom, between the 'c' and the 't' in the word picture. It's the original die-cut sleeve it came in! A complete (up to that point) Baktabak discography is on the back. Payment is expected within a couple of days of auction's end, unless previous arrangements are made.
