RARE Introducing The
Beatles England's No 1
Vocal Group
You are bidding on an authentic copy of the "Introducing the Beatles - England's No. 1 Vocal Group" LP from VeeJay Records. This particular version of the album (mono cover, version 1, variation 3) is extremely rare and can be differentiated from more common or counterfeit copies in the following ways:
1) The Song Titles on the back of the cover contain "Love Me Do" and "PS I Love You" and the other titles are arranged in two columns.
2) On the back of the cover the Vee Jay logo is in brackets
3) The front cover is marked as " LP 1062 "
4) The cover is made of glossy paper stock (front & back)
5) All printing is sharp and clear
6) The cover has 1/4 inch overlap at top and bottom on inside
7) No brown border on the front cover
8) George Harrison's shadow is visible to the right of where he stands
9) No red / yellow / blue registration dots on the cover
The Disc itself is remarkable for the following reasons:
1) It is the Mono Disc / Version 1 featuring the oval Vee Jay logo, color band and left justified title.
2) The silver printing is bright & sharp
3) The vinyl is stamped with the words "Audio Matrix" & the date 6/29/63
4) The rainbow / colorband is glossy
5) The width of the vinyl trail-off is less than one inch
6) The title "introducing the Beatles" and "The Beatles" are centered above the middle of disk, and are not separated.
This is an extremely rare album, and if you find similar versions on eBay or elsewhere online you will notice that there are subtle variations which make this LP unique. Serious bidders only!
