This auction is for a rare and unplayed Jimi Hendrix Experience Limited Edition 8 LP box set that was issued in 2000.

These extremely rare collector items were pressed on heavy 180 gram virgin vinyl to very limited numbers with the original plates being destroyed once the number was met.

Being a huge Hendrix fan and collector, I pre-ordered two of these box sets in 1999 in order to ensure that I was able to snap them up when they became available in 2000. I still have my personal copy that I have opened to admire and adore but kept the 2nd box set in it's original packaging for collection purposes. Much to my resistance, I am now offering the SEALED AND UNPLAYED 8LP Box Set for sale via this auction.

This item would make a fantastic Christmas present for a friend or loved one and includes 56 unreleased or unavailable recordings and a 40 page full color book filled with rare photos. Each album was pressed on 180 gram virgin vinyl and come in separate album jackets with artwork covers.

 Never before heard takes of your favorite Hendrix songs like, "Purple Haze", "Hey Joe", and a stunning version of "Little Wing". Includes alternate takes, live recordings unreleased and previously unreleased studio material.
