Description
The Lightmen "Free As You Wanna Be" LP on Judnell Records (LP-1001).
Original pressing of this classic Houston Jazz/Funk LP. Bubbha Thomas leads the band and it's the same band that went on to record "Fancy Pants", "Energy Control Center", "Country Fried Chicken", and the 12" "Where's the Beef!" But, before all those was "Free As You Wanna Be." It more along the line of Tribe or Strata East than his later mid-70s funk records, but it's amazing and in my opinion his strongest session. Contains the songs "Creative Music", "Free As You Wanna Be", "High Pockets", "#109 Psychosomatic" and more.
Condition: LP: NM- / Sleeve: NM- (still in shrink). I bought this one sealed a number of years ago and it's the only copy i've ever seen!
