Olias Of Sunhillow is far more than simply a solo album from the voice of Yes. Released in 1976, it is Jon Anderson’s beautifully ambitious fantasy concept album – a complete musical world filled with layered vocals, atmospheric keyboards, exotic percussion, acoustic textures and an unmistakably dreamlike progressive sound.

What makes this copy especially enjoyable for a collector is the complete visual experience. The elaborate gatefold artwork, illustrated inner sleeve and richly detailed presentation are a huge part of the album’s charm. This is the kind of record that is just as satisfying to sit with and explore as it is to play.

Anderson created this album as a remarkably personal project, handling the vocals and an extraordinary range of keyboards, guitars, percussion, strings and other instruments himself. The result is one of the most distinctive solo records connected with the classic Yes era – immersive, spiritual, cinematic and beautifully eccentric.

The record has been very well preserved and presents close to new. The vinyl remains clean and glossy with no obvious scratches; any handling marks are extremely faint and mainly visible under strong directional light. Playback is quiet and stable with little to no distracting background noise. No skips, distortion or tracking problems were experienced during our check. The sound remains clear, rich and detailed with excellent dynamics.

A beautiful example for its age. The elaborate gatefold artwork remains bright, sharp and extremely attractive, with only very light signs of careful storage and minimal wear around the edges or corners. The seams remain intact and the sleeve presents exceptionally well on the shelf.

The illustrated lyric inner sleeve is also present and remains in excellent condition. Having the matching original inner is an important part of the presentation of this particular album and completes the wonderful visual concept.

We treat every record with the same care we would want for our own collection. The vinyl will be supplied with a fresh protective inner sleeve alongside the original inner, and the album itself will be placed in a new protective outer sleeve. All original accompanying material present with the record will of course remain with it.

The record will be packed carefully in a proper vinyl mailer with suitable stiffening and protection to minimise movement in transit. The vinyl can be packed outside the main sleeve where appropriate to help protect the seams during delivery.
